My Tattoo Story

I got this tribal tattoo from a friend at their house. He’s just learning but I think he did an awesome job. It doesn’t have any meaning behind it but I really love tribal tattoo designs. I didnt want just any old tribal tattoo I wanted something a bit different thats why it’s red and black and 3d. I love how it turned out. He needed some friends to practice on and I seen some of his work before so I wanted to get something by him cos he was still doing it cheap. I always liked tribal tattoos but this one is my favorite because it is so different. I think tribal tattoos are great because they fit the body and flow with the muscles. Once I get to the gym before summer I hope that’s the case anyway. I love how tribal tattoos look when they’re really big so I’m thinking about putting more onto this one. The guy who did it just took markers and drew it onto my arm completely freehand. That way no one else has the same tattoo as me and it’s completely unique even if it is just a tribal tattoo. I always like getting new tattoos so I’m always planning for more even if I don’t know what they are yet.

When and Where

I got the tattoo done last summer at the guys house. It wasn’t in a studio but he had all the stuff to do it. He lives close in Johnston County NC, it’s out a ways but it wasn’t so hard to find cos I went with the friend of mine who had been before.

The Experience

It was real good, we took a couple of smoke breaks but it didn’t take too long, only about an hour or so. The worst part was close by the arm pit. I wasn’t nervous, it’s just a tattoo. I have a few others so I knew what I was in for getting the tattoo. I wouldn’t mind going back to him and getting some more tattoo work cos he was pretty cheap.

The Future

I know I will get more tattoos. I’m thinking of adding to the tribal tattoo and putting tribal all the way down my arm. Probably adding red to that one as well to make it look the same. I like the way tribal tattoos look so I do want to get more of them. I think next I might just get my son’s name in tribal on my leg or something so maybe something with meaning but I’m not sure. I want to get an eagle tattoo too at some point.
