My Tattoo Story

I saw this as a Japanese painting and took it to Justin Olham at Tattoo U 2 (now at End of the Line Cardiff) who did a great job. Most people take a little while to spot the skulls in the flowers.

When and Where

Tattoo was done 4 years ago. This and my previous tattoo of two dragons in the sky, have been made into a major backpiece, by the adding of a large oriental phoenix (see my finished back piece, also on site), by Simon Ashley at Needle Asylum, Cardiff. This tattoo took around 8 hours and with the dragons and the large phoenix including the backgound shading, it adds up to around 38 hours!! Good job I can sit for 4 or 5 hours stone still, much appreciated by the artists involved.

The Experience

All the artists have been very professional and helped me be relaxed and all did very good work, can recommend all three, Simon Ashley, Justin Oldham and Dave Fleet.

The Future

May get my upper arms done, if I see a design or an idea that I really want.
